Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Complete Care Rehab, LLC. (“Complete Care”) regarding its recent data breach. The Complete Care data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information belonging to over 4,700 patients.
ABOUT COMPLETE CARE REHAB, LLC.:
Complete Care is a privately owned and operated physical therapy company located in Michigan. Specializing in therapy solutions, Complete Care provides services related to neck/shoulder, back, hip, knee and leg pain, foot/ankle problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, vertigo/dizziness, and lymphedema.1 Headquartered in East Pointe, Michigan, Complete Care also provides five special therapy and rehabilitation treatment programs.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On July 2, 2025, Complete Care posted a notice on its website of a cyber event. According to the breach notice posted on its website, Complete Care became aware of suspicious activity within its network environment.1 As a result, Complete Care launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Complete Care confirmed that sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party on or around May 11, 2025. 1 As a result, Comple Care began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. According to the breach notice, the sensitive personal information potentially affected includes the following types of information:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Medical Information (diagnosis, lab results, provider names, dates of treatment)
- Health insurance information
- Address
- Date of birth
- Email address
- Phone number
