Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating AIS InfoSource LP (“AIS”) regarding its recent data breach. The AIS data breach involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an unknown number of individuals.

AIS is a professional services and technology firm based in Texas. Established in 2000, AIS provides services including data and predictive analytics, loan administration, and other financial services.2 Headquartered in Houston, Texas, AIS employs over 1,000 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, AIS reported to the Attorney General of Maine that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, AIS identified suspicious activity within its network.1 As a result, AIS launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, AIS confirmed that an unauthorized actor had gained access to its environment and took certain information from two employee systems between February 16, and February 21, 2025.1 As a result, AIS began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted, as well as identify the specific individuals affected. The review concluded on June 13, 2025. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial account number
- Driver’s license number
- Government identification number (e.g. passport, state identification card)
- Date of birth
On June 30, 2025, AIS began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, AIS is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
