WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 23, 2025, Case Farms reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. In the sample breach notice, Case Farms does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

- Social Security number
- Financial account number
On June 20, 2025, Case Farms began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.
