Recently, Nucor reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission that it experienced a data breach in which sensitive information in its care may have been compromised.1 In response Nucor launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. Nucor determined that a threat actor accessed its systems and obtained some data during the incident.1 As of June 23, 2025, Nucor’s investigation remains ongoing and is reviewing the impacted information, further details have not been made publicly available by Nucor.
