Optiline is a construction company based in New Hampshire. Founded in 2006, Optiline specializes in a variety of construction services including interior and exterior metal framing, drywall and drywall finishes, insulation, soundproofing, and gypsum floors.2 Today, Optiline serves clients in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Tennessee, and North and South Carolina.2 Headquartered in Nashua, New Hampshire, Optiline has two additional locations in Tennessee and North Carolina, and employs over 250 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Optiline reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or around December 26, 2024, Optiline became aware of potential unauthorized access into its network that impacted certain systems.1 As a result, Optiline launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Optiline confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party between December 19 and December 31, 2024. As a result, Optiline began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On May 27, 2025, Optiline completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license/state identification number
- Government identification number
- Payment card information
On June 9, 2025, Optiline began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, Optiline is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
