WHAT HAPPENED?

In late April 2025, Esse Health announced that it had experienced a cybersecurity incident. According to the breach notice posted on its website, Esse Health’s network systems are currently offline due to a cybersecurity event.1 As of May 13, 2025, Esse Health’s  investigation into the incident is ongoing but it has not posted any additional information. Additionally, Esse Health has not publicly disclosed the nature of the cybersecurity incident that impacted its systems.
