Recently, Toyota Financial Services reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the sample breach notice provided to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, On February 7, 2025, Toyota Financial Services learned of the exposure of a limited amount of personal information stored in its systems.1 Beyond this, Toyota Financial Services does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems.
