Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Conduent Incorporated (“Conduent”) regarding its recent data breach. The Conduent data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

Founded in 2017, Conduent delivers digital business solutions and services spanning the commercial, government and transportation spectrum.2 Today, these solutions include customer experience management, finance, accounting and procurement, human capital solutions, integrated digital solutions, legal compliance and analytics, bank and lending solutions, and healthcare business solutions.3 Headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey, Conduent employs over 55,000 individuals

WHAT HAPPENED?

On January 13, 2025, Conduent experienced an operational disruption and learned that a ‘threat actor’ gained unauthorized access to a limited portion of its environment.1 In response, Conduent launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. During the initial stages of its investigation, Conduent discovered that the threat actor exfiltrated a set of files associated with some of its clients.1 As a result, Conduent began a review of the exfiltrated data with cybersecurity data mining experts and recently confirmed that the data sets contained a significant number of individuals’ personal information associated with its clients’ end-users.1 On April 9, 2025, Conduent reported the incident in a Form 8-K filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. As of April 17, 2025, Conduent’s investigation is ongoing and further details have not been made publicly available by Conduent.
