VET.CT Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating VET.CT regarding its recent data breach. The VET.CT data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

ABOUT VET.CT:

VET.CT is a veterinary specialty hospital based in England. Founded in 2009, VET.CT provides small animal teleradiology, equine teleradiology, specialist case advice, and education services.2 In 2017, VET.CT formed its North American division based in Orlando, Florida.2 Headquartered in Cambridge, England, VET.CT has an additional location in Australia and employs over 270 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On April 11, 2025, VET.CT reported to the Attorney General of Texas that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. As of April 14, 2025, details of the breach have not been made publicly available by VET.CT. While not much is known about the breach, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address

 

According to the Attorney General of Texas breach report, VET.CT has begun emailing notice to impacted individuals. A link to the breach report filed by the Attorney General of Texas is below.
