Through its investigation, Mercury confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and taken by an unauthorized third party between February 18, and February 19, 2025.1 As a result, Mercury began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted, as well as identify specific individuals affected. On, or about April 9, 2025, Mercury began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to individuals, Mercury is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of identity protection and credit monitoring.
