Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Eckert & Ziegler reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been accessed and acquired. According to the breach notice, on February 17, 2025, Eckert & Zigler discovered unusual activity on its computer network.1 As a result, Eckert & Ziegler launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, Eckert & Ziegler confirmed that sensitive personal information in certain files in its network may have been viewed and obtained by an unauthorized third party on February 2, 2025. As a result, Eckert & Ziegler began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Financial account information

 

On March 6, 2025, Eckert & Ziegler began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notices provided to New Hampshire residents, Eckert & Ziegler is providing affected individuals with a list of the information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
