Founded in 1990, ArdyssLife offers a variety of products relating to weight control, digestive nutrition, nervous system and immune health, bone and muscular nutrition, and coffee.2 Headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, ArdyssLife employs over 5,000 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, ArdyssLife reported to the Attorney General of California that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, on December 9, 2024, ArdyssLife was informed of unauthorized access to servers operated by its third-party provider Epic.1 As a result, ArdyssLife launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, ArdyssLife confirmed that an intruder had installed malware and may have compromised customers’ sensitive personal information in its systems party between December 8 and December 9, 2024. As a result, ArdyssLife began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Bank and credit/debit card information
On January 12, 2025, ArdyssLife began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to California residents, ArdyssLife is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted.
