WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Bald Head Island Limited reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, on July 27, 2024, Bald Head Island Limited became aware of unusual activity within its computer network. As a result, Bald Head Island Limited launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
