WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Highgate reported to the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. In the form breach notice, Highgate does not elaborate on the nature of the security incident that impacted its systems. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license or state identification card number
- Passport number
- Tax identification number
- Financial account information
- Payment card information
- Health information
- Health insurance information
