WHAT HAPPENED?

On October 15, 2024, Narstco reported to the Attorney General of Texas that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. As of October 16, 2024, details of the breach have not been made publicly available by Narstco. While not much is known about the breach, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Address
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Government issued identification number (e.g., passport, state ID card)
  • Medical information

 

As a result of the data breach, Narstco has provided notice to impacted individuals. A link to the breach report filed by the Attorney General of Texas is below.
