Horizontal Integration Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Horizontal Integration, Inc., which does business as Horizontal Digital and Horizontal Talent (“Horizontal”), regarding its recent data breach. The Horizontal data breach involved personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Horizontal reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. According to the breach notice, Horizontal detected unauthorized activity within certain Horizontal systems. As a result, Horizontal launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its ongoing investigation, Horizontal learned that sensitive personal information may have been viewed or taken from its systems between July 3 and July 11, 2024. As a result, Horizontal began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On July 18, 2024, Horizontal completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number

 

On July 24, 2024, Horizontal began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notices provided to the Attorney General of New Hampshire, Horizontal is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific type of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
