Imagine360 Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Imagine360, LLC regarding its recent data breach. The Imagine360 data breach may have involved sensitive personal identifiable information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.  

ABOUT IMAGINE360, LLC:

Imagine360 is an insurance company specializing in health plan solutions for self-funded businesses. Accordingly, Imagine360 offers a variety of insurance services, such reference-based pricing tools, comprehensive plan processing, and support in finding health care providers. Founded in 2003, Imagine360 assists customers in the automotive, construction, technology, and manufacturing industries, and more. Additionally, Imagine360 partners with 25,000 health providers, including 1,000 CVS Minute Clinics and 6,500 Quest Diagnostic Centers. Headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Imagine360 operates more than 550 facilities and serves over 1,000 clients across the United States.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Imagine360 reported to the Attorney General of Montana that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. According to the breach notice, Imagine360 detected suspicious activity related to employee email accounts on or around March 10, 2024. After completing an enterprise-wide password reset and securing its email environment, Imagine360 launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

During its investigation, Imagine360 determined that certain files containing sensitive data may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party on or around March 10, 2024. Imagine360 reviewed the compromised files to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On June 7, 2024, Imagine360 finalized this review. The exact type of personal information potentially exposed has not been made publicly available by Imagine360. However, according to state reporting guidelines, “personal information” can include the following types of information: 

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license or state issued identification number
  • Financial information (e.g., financial account number, credit or debit card number)
  • Medical information
  • Taxpayer ID number
  • Identity protection personal ID number

 

As a result of the breach, Imagine360 recently began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the notices sent to Montana residents, the letters provide impacted individuals with a list of the specific type of sensitive information impacted.
