WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Venture Plastics discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been accessed. In July 2024, Venture Plastics reported the data breach to the Attorney General of Texas. According to the breach report, Venture Plastics has notified individuals whose data may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Driver’s license number
- Government issued ID number (e.g., passport, state ID number)
- Financial information (e.g., account number, credit or debit card number)
- Medical information
- Health insurance information
