WHAT HAPPENED?

In 2023, Sorensen Vance discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. In October 2023, and on June 14, 2024, Sorensen Vance notified individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number
  • Address
  • Employment (W-2) information
  • 1099 information
  • Direct deposit bank account information (e.g., account number and routing number)
