FCCI Insurance Group Data Breach Investigation

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, FCCI discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, FCCI determined that an unauthorized third party accessed this sensitive information through company email accounts between December 2023 and February 2024. As a result, FCCI began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Contact information
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number 
  • Health information
