WHAT HAPPENED?

On or about March 25, 2022, MCG Health discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its system may have been accessed. MCG Health will be notifying individuals impacted on the hospitals’ behalf. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Medical Codes
  • Postal address
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Dates of birth
  • Gender
