Lincare Holdings Data Breach Class Action

WHAT HAPPENED?

On September 26, 2021, Lincare discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its network was accessed. In November 2021, Lincare began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. Recently, in June 2022, Lincare filed additional data breach notifications with various state governments signifying that more individuals likely needed notification that their personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Lincare account numbers
  • Date of birth
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information
  • Prescription information
  • Social Security number
