WHAT HAPPENED?
On December 10, 2023, DataMate discovered it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its system may have been accessed. Through its investigation, DataMate determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information between September 23, 2023 and December 10, 2023. On February 15, 2024, DataMate began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name;
- Social Security number;
- Date of birth;
- Tax identification number;
- Driver’s license number;
- Student identification number;
- Financial account number; and
- Health insurance policy number.
