WHAT HAPPENED?

On December 20, 2021, Petersen International Underwriters discovered that it experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its system may have been accessed. On July 6, 2022, Petersen International Underwriters began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Financial account information
