Founded in 1970, Quechee Club is set within the Quechee Lakes Community in the town of Hartford and delivers a four-season recreational lifestyle to over 1,400 residents.2 Today, Quechee Club features a modern clubhouse with fine and casual dining facilities, 11 tennis courts, two paddle tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a 50-acre lake for swimming and canoeing, trails for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing, a downhill ski area, polo fields, and two championship golf courses.2 Headquartered in Quechee, Vermont, Quechee Club employs over 50 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Quechee Club discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired. Through its investigation, Quechee Club determined that an unauthorized actor gained access to this sensitive information between December 29 and December 30, 2023. On June 4, 2024, Quechee Club began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or state identification number
- Financial account information
