WHAT HAPPENED?
On June 17, 2022, Convergent Outsourcing discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Convergent Outsourcing determined that an unauthorized actor accessed this sensitive information by using data extraction tools and deploying a ransomware attack. Recently, in October 2022, Convergent Outsourcing began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

- Social Security number
- Contact information
- Financial information (e.g., account number)
