Headquartered in League City, Texas, PTI Systems employs over 10 individuals.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On July 18, 2022, PTI Systems, a software vendor for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, which does business as PG&E, discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, PTI Systems determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between July 7 and July 16, 2022. Furthermore, PTI Systems concluded that PG&E contractors, employees, or site visitors may have been impacted. On November 15, 2022, PTI Systems began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information impacted includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Address
