WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Gensco discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Gensco determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information by launching a ransomware attack on June 30, 2022. On November 17, 2022, Gensco began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Driver’s license number
- Address
- Financial information (e.g., account number, routing number)
- Medical information
