As a hospitality company, New Enchantment Group has 4 destination resorts in Sedona, Arizona, Irvington, Virginia, and the Bahamas. Through its destination resorts, New Enchantment Group offers a variety of activities, including mountain biking, hiking, guided tours, swimming, spa treatments, and paddle boarding. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, New Enchantment Group was founded in 1994 and employs approximately 200 individuals.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On October 4, 2022, New Enchantment Group discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, New Enchantment Group determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive information between October 3 and October 4, 2022. On June 6, 2023, New Enchantment Group began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Health insurance information
