WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Generations Federal Credit Union discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Generations Federal Credit Union determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information. On June 12, 2023, Generations Federal Credit Union began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number
  • Address
  • Medical information
  • Financial information (e.g., account number, credit or debit card number)
  • Health insurance information
