WHAT HAPPENED?
On December 14, 2022, Ventura County Credit Union discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Ventura County Credit Union determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between October 20 and December 15, 2022. On July 6, 2023, Ventura County Credit Union began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

- Financial account information
