WHAT HAPPENED?
On May 1, 2023, S&G Financial discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, S&G Financial determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this information through an employee’s email mailbox between April 27, 2023, and May 1, 2023. On August 29, 2023, S&G Financial began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:
