Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, BASIS Educational Group conducts business throughout Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, and the District of Columbia to serve students from kindergarten to high school.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On or around March 1, 2023, BASIS Educational Group discovered that it experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, BASIS Educational Group determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and obtained this sensitive information by copying files from BASIS Educational Group’s computer network. On July 25, 2023, BASIS Educational Group began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
