WHAT HAPPENED?

On June 24, 2023, Cupertino Electric discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Cupertino Electric determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed and acquired this sensitive information between June 14 and June 24, 2023. On July 28, 2023, Cupertino Electric began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Address
