WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Cinfed Credit Union discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been accessed. Through its investigation, Cinfed Credit Union determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information between September 22 and September 25, 2023. On November 9, 2023, Cinfed Credit Union began contacting individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of information exposed includes: 

  • Name 
  • Social Security number 
  • Financial account number
