WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Maryville discovered that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information may have been accessed and acquired. Through its investigation, Maryville determined that an unauthorized actor may have accessed this sensitive information through a corporate email account between August 21 and August 22, 2023. On February 20, 2024, Maryville began notifying individuals whose information may have been impacted. The type of personal information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Government identification
  • Financial account information
  • Medical treatment information
  • Health insurance information
