GiaCare Data Breach Investigation

Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating GiaCare, Inc., which acts as a subcontractor to GiaMed Alliance JV, LLC, regarding its recent data breach. The GiaCare data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

GiaCare is a healthcare staffing and IT provider based in Florida. Founded in 1998, GiaCare provides government and public sector entities with healthcare staffing solutions in federal hospitals and government facilities, as well as GiaCare’s own field staff.2,3,4,5 Additionally, offers a range of IT services to government entities and healthcare organizations, including information security, help desk staffing and support, computer network defense, and more.4,5,6 Government entities who have worked with GiaCare include the Department of Defense, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, NASA, etc.4 Headquartered in Coral Springs, Florida, GiaCare employs over 50 individuals.3

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, GiaCare reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about December 23, 2025, GiaCare was alerted to a vulnerability in the file-sharing platform of a third-party vendor, Gladinet CentreStack (“CentreStack”) used by GiaCare.1 As a result, GiaCare launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, GiaCare confirmed that sensitive personal information on the CentreStack platform related to GiaCare may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party between on December 6, 2025. As a result, GiaCare began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Driver’s license number

 

On January 23, 2026, GiaCare began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, GiaCare is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
