WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Associated Radiologists announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about October 30, 2025, Associated Radiologists became aware of suspicious activity related to certain systems within its computer network.1 As a result, Associated Radiologists launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Associated Radiologists confirmed that sensitive personal information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed or acquired by an unauthorized third party between October 28 and October 30, 2025. As a result, Associated Radiologists began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Address
- Date of birth
- Medical record number
- Clinical or treatment information
- Medical procedure information
- Medical provider name
- Prescription information
- Health insurance information
On December 29, 2025, Associated Radiologists posted notice of the breach on its website.
