Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Driven P.S.C. (“Driven”) regarding its recent data breach. The Driven data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to an undetermined number of individuals.

Driven is a financial advisory firm based in Puerto Rico. Founded in 2021, Driven provides a range of financial advisory and accounting services to businesses, including audits, tax filings, outsourced accounting, and more.2,3,4 Industries serviced by Driven include manufacturing, government, education, nonprofits, healthcare, technology, telecommunications, real estate, financial services, etc.5 Headquartered in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Driven employs over 200 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Driven reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on February 21, 2025, Driven became aware of suspicious sign-in activity related to a single employee’s email account.1 As a result, Driven launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Driven confirmed that sensitive personal information in the emails may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party between February 3 and February 21, 2025. As a result, Driven began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:1,6
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license or state identification number
As a result of the breach, Driven began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, Driven is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months complimentary credit monitoring services.
