Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Wheels Up Partners LLC (“Wheels Up”) regarding its recent data breach. The Wheels Up data breach involved sensitive personal information belonging to over 5,700 individuals.

Wheels Up is a private aviation company based in New York. Founded in 2013, Wheels Up provides a range of private aviation services to clients, including private jets, flight memberships, group charter flights, cargo logistics, and more.2,3 Headquartered in New York, New York, Wheels Up employs over 1,000 individuals.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Wheels Up reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on October 23, 2025, Wheels Up detected that an unauthorized actor may have gained access to and copied certain files from its information technology systems.1 As a result, Wheels Up launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Wheels Up confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party on October 20, 2025. As a result, Wheels Up began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On November 3, 2025, Wheels Up completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
On December 9, 2025, Wheels Up began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Maine residents, Wheels Up is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
