Strauss Borrelli PLLC, a leading data breach law firm, is investigating Country Club Enterprises, LLC, which does business as C2 Vehicles (“C2 Vehicles”), regarding its recent data breach. Founded in 1981, C2 Vehicles offers a range of golf carts and small-wheeled gas and electric vehicles for country clubs, municipalities, and homeowners throughout New England, including personal carts, commercial utility vehicles, rental carts, neighborhood electric vehicles, and more.2,3 Brands offered by C2 Vehicles include Club Car, Cru, Live Onward, Garcia, Gem, etc.2 Headquartered in Wareham, Massachusetts, C2 Vehicles employs over 50 individuals and operates five physical New England locations.3
WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, C2 Vehicles reported to the Attorney General of Vermont that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on August 28, 2025, C2 Vehicles experienced a network disruption.1 As a result, C2 Vehicles launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, C2 Vehicles confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, C2 Vehicles began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number
On November 11, 2025, C2 Vehicles began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to Vermont residents, C2 Vehicles is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
