Nover employs approximately eight individuals.2

WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, David A. Nover announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice shared on its website, on or around June 3, 2025, David A. Nover became aware of unusual activity in its network environment.1 As a result, David A. Nover launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, David A. Nover confirmed that sensitive personal information and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party during the breach. As a result, David A. Nover began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. On October 29, 2025, David A. Nover completed this review. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Payment card information (expiration date, access information)
  • Medical record number
  • Patient ID or account number
  • Medicare number
  • Health insurance information (ID number, group number)
  • Medical information (diagnosis, treatment, treatment location, doctor name, treatment dates, lab or test results)

 

On November 3, 2025, David A. Nover posted notice of the breach on its website. Additionally, David A. Nover began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the website breach notice, David A. Nover is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.
