WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 14, 2025, BayFirst was notified of a cybersecurity incident experienced by a third-party provider of marketing services.1 In response, BayFirst launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident. During the initial stages of its investigation, BayFirst discovered that certain customer information was exposed without authorization, including name, social security/tax identification numbers, and date of birth.1 On October 28, 2025, BayFirst reported the incident in a Form 8-K filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. As of October 31, 2025, BayFirst’s investigation is ongoing and further details have not been made publicly available by BayFirst.
