WHAT HAPPENED?

Recently, Sciarabba Walker announced that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on April 22, 2025, Sciarabba Walker became aware of suspicious activity related to two Sciarabba Walker employee email accounts.1 As a result, Sciarabba Walker launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.

Through its investigation, Sciarabba Walker confirmed that the sensitive personal information and protected health information in the affected employee email accounts may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party between April 5 and April 22, 2025.1 As a result, Sciarabba Walker began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Driver’s license number
  • Passport number
  • Financial account information
  • Payment card information
  • Username and password
  • Medical information
  • Health insurance information

 

As a result of the breach, Sciarabba Walker posted notice of the data breach to its website. Additionally, on September 26, 2025, Sciarabba Walker began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice being sent to Vermont and New Hampshire residents, Sciarabba Walker is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and complimentary credit monitoring services.6,7 A link to the website breach notice is below.
