WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Sellmark reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on April 14, 2025, Sellmark identified a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to its computer network.1,4 As a result, Sellmark launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Sellmark confirmed that the sensitive personal information in its system may have been accessed or copied by an unauthorized third party between March 10 and April 14, 2025.1 As a result, Sellmark began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes: 4

- Social Security number
- Driver’s license number or government ID number
- Financial account information
- Credit or debit card information
- Medical information
- Health insurance information
On September 11, 2025, Sellmark began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals. Additionally, Sellmark posted notice of the data breach to its website. 4 Based on the breach notice being sent to New Hampshire residents, Sellmark is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 12 months of complimentary credit monitoring services. 1 A link to breach notification letters that Sellmark filed with the Attorney General of New Hampshire is below.
