WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Wong Fleming reported to the Attorney General of Maine that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on December 14, 2024, Wong Fleming became aware of unauthorized activity on its computer network.1 As a result, Wong Fleming launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Wong Fleming confirmed that sensitive personal information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party between December 13 and December 14, 2024. 1 As a result, Wong Fleming began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes: 4

- Social Security number
- Driver’s License number
On August 29, 2025, Wong Fleming began mailing data breach notification letters to impacted individuals.
