WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, Cunningham Group disclosed that it had experienced a data breach in which sensitive personal identifiable information in its systems may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on September 10, 2024, Cunningham Group became aware of unauthorized activity on its computer network1. As a result, Cunningham Group launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, Cunningham Group confirmed that sensitive personal information in its system may have been accessed and acquired by an unauthorized third party between September 6, 2024, and September 13, 2024. As a result, Cunningham Group began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:1
