WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, LaBovick Law Group reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on or about October 23, 2024, LaBovick Law Group detected a cyber-attack on parts of its computer servers. 1 As a result, LaBovick Law Group launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, LaBovick Law Group confirmed that sensitive personal identifiable information and protected health information in its systems were accessed between October 7 and October 23, 2024.1 As a result, LaBovick Law Group began a review of the data to determine what information had been impacted as well as identify the specific individuals affected. The investigation by LaBovick Law Group concluded on June 18, 2025. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Address
- Driver’s license number/ State identification number
- Passport number
- Financial account information (bank account information and credit card information)
- Health records
- Health insurance information (policy and identification numbers and claims history)
On July 16, 2025, the LaBovick Law Group began providing notice to impacted individuals. Based on the notice sent to New Hampshire residents, LaBovick Law Group is providing affected individuals with 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
