Recently, Ingram Micro released a statement to various news sources regarding its recent cybersecurity incident and ongoing system outage.1 In this statement, Ingram Micro states that it, “recently identified ransomware on certain of its internal systems.”1 As a result, Ingram Micro launched an investigation into the incident and is working to restore the affected systems so that it can process and ship orders.1 As of July 7, 2025, Ingram Micro has not confirmed whether the incident resulted in a data breach.
