WHAT HAPPENED?
Recently, PSG reported to the Attorney General of New Hampshire that it had experienced a data breach in which the sensitive personal identifiable information in its care may have been compromised. According to the breach notice, on May 8, 2025, PSG identified suspicious activity within one employee’s email account.1 As a result, PSG launched an investigation to determine the nature of the incident.
Through its investigation, PSG confirmed that files containing sensitive personal information in its email system belonging to PSG clients may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party.1 As a result, PSG began a reviewed of the files to determine what information had been impacted, as well as identify the specific individuals affected. While the information impacted varies depending on the individual, the type of information potentially exposed includes:
- Name
- Social Security number
- Financial account information
- Account information
On June 25, 2025, PSG began mailing data breach notification letters to the impacted individuals. Based on the breach notice sent to New Hampshire residents, PSG is providing affected individuals with a list of the specific types of sensitive information impacted and 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring services.
